Dear AXELOS Partner,
I am writing to you to inform you of the results of the recent RFP process that AXELOS has undertaken. The RFP process was for the selection of and re-contracting of Examining Institutes from 1 January 2018.
The comprehensive selection process asked EIs to present ideas and strategies for improving quality and the growing of the Global Best Practice market. It was concluded that proceeding with a single EI would offer the greatest opportunity to achieve these goals.
All submissions were scored against a rigorous set of criteria (including organisational structure, technical innovation, examination delivery, security, accreditation, transformation, growth etc.) and the scoring mechanics have allowed for objective decision making.
Following this process, the EI with the highest score and the partner that AXELOS has selected for our onwards partnership is PEOPLECERT.
I would like to take this opportunity to highlight some very important points:
- I would like to personally thank all of the EIs for the considerable effort invested in the process. An EI's non-selection is in no way an indication of their capabilities, ideas or commitment to the Global Best Practice market.
- The decision was taken to appoint only one EI and PEOPLECERT has been selected because they scored the highest on their submission.
- This selection process is for Accreditation and Examination Processing from 1 January 2018. All five EIs will continue to be contracted to provide the services under the existing agreements until 31 December 2017.
- All EIs have committed to supporting the ecosystem during 2017.
- The underlying principle of the RFP process has been to preserve and grow the Global Best Practice market. Over the coming year we will be communicating with the AXELOS ecosystem to help manage any required transition.
